Jolyon is our Rector and has been with us at Busbridge since 1994. He used to be a barrister, although you probably wouldn’t guess! He lives with his wife Frances and two children, Joshua and Abigail, in the nearby Rectory, the large garden giving respite from a busy schedule.

Stephanie is our Associate Minister and is based half-time in Busbridge, where she’s mainly involved with the evening service. The rest of the time she leads our sister church in Hambledon, where she lives in a gloriously eccentric cottage called Mervil Bottom.
She originally worked in radio and television, and then after ordination spent five years in two inner city London churches before arriving here in 2004 for a bit of a change! She’s a local girl as she grew up in Farnham. For relaxation she loves music - singing and playing the guitar - and going to the cinema.

David and his wife Jill travelled widely through his corporate work with BP, and he has a rich and varied experience of life. Now retired in Busbridge, David was selected by the local Church Family to train for ordination. He is very involved with Housegroups, Youth and Children, Marriage Preparation, as well as teaching and training. He also finds time to lead or preach at church services!

Andy has spent much of his teaching career at Godalming College, where he has taught Geography and Religious Studies as well as being Senior Tutor.
Ordained in 2004, Andy is team leader for the 9.30 congregation, leader of Prime Time (fun for the over-50s) as well as being Vice-Chairman of Busbridge CE Junior School Governors and a year tutor on the Guildford Diocesan Ministry Course.
In what is laughingly called spare-time, Andy enjoys gardening, cycling and seeing his family.

Margot was ordained in 2001 and spent three and a half years as Assistant Minister in the parish of Wonersh with Blackheath, before returning to Busbridge in March 2005. She works for three days a week in Busbridge and is the Minister Responsible for Pastoral Care.
She and Andy have lived in Godalming since 1974. They have three daughters (all married) and six grandchildren.
In a previous life, Margot worked as a nursery teacher, practice manager of a GP surgery and was church administrator here - but not all at the same time!

Lesley spent over 20 years in the oil industry, and has since run a firm of surveyors, chaired Bliss the national charity for the newborn, and served as a non-executive director for several charities. She is currently a Board member for the Energy Saving Trust. For the last three and half years she has combined family life and these interests with studying theology, and started full training for ordained ministry two years ago, alternating her time between working in the parish, and studying at St John’s College, Nottingham.

David is our Youth and Children’s team leader and is responsible for the church’s work with young people from the age of 7 to 21. This is about 150 people at the moment! He goes in to schools, runs after-school clubs, Sunday groups, and develops the vision and strategy for developing this work. He also can occasionally be found in the midst of a pastoral conversation in the local Coffee Shop. From time to time, he leads worship and preaches.
David is married to Pam who is also involved in leading the Pathfinder group for 11-14 year olds on Sunday mornings.

Shân was appointed as our Younger Children and Families worker in July 2001. Her role is to oversee all the activities that involve children from 0 – 7 years and their families. This includes the Sunday activity groups for this age range such as Crèche and Adventurers, as well as activities that go on throughout the week which include the ABC baby and toddler groups; the monthly ABC Service; Baptism Preparation; and the Parenting Skills courses. She works closely with David Welch, the Youth and Childrens’ Co-ordinator.
